When you need a tow truck
The evacuation service is not only for accidents. The most frequently ordered cases are: taking a car with a dead engine to a service centre, moving a car that has been stored for a long time to a new address, delivering a sold car to the buyer, and relocating containers and oversized equipment.
During the call the operator asks about the type of vehicle, whether the wheels turn and how accessible its location is. This matters: a car parked in a basement garage or on a narrow street may need different equipment. The amount is calculated from this information and does not change afterwards.
During loading the car is pulled up onto the platform with a ramp, the wheels are blocked and the body is secured with straps. This prevents sliding and further damage along the way. For intercity transport the route is planned in advance and the travel time is communicated to the customer.
