You don't need to order a full move to transport one item
Often a customer needs only one item moved: a sofa, a fridge, a washing machine, a TV or a bedroom set. In such cases ordering a full move is an unnecessary expense — the moving belongings rate exists exactly for this. A van matching the size of the load is assigned and the price is calculated only for the actual work.
Even a single item is never moved unprotected. Upholstered furniture is wrapped in stretch film, glass-door cabinets and mirrors are covered with bubble wrap, and fridges and washing machines are secured with straps so they don’t shift. The operator lets you know in advance about emptying appliances and disconnecting them from the water supply before the move.
The most popular option of this service is delivery from the store to your home. Furniture or appliances are picked up from the store, carried up to the floor and placed in the room you point to. In buildings without a lift, carrying by hand is also included in the agreed price.
If the number of items grows and most of the apartment is moving, the home moving rate becomes more affordable — the operator will tell you this on the call. For sensitive cargo such as safes, pianos or aquariums, special cargo transport applies.
