Why palletised cargo transport is safer
Palletised cargo transport is both faster and safer than moving boxes one by one. A load stacked on a pallet and stretch-wrapped moves as a single block — boxes don’t fall apart and the order isn’t disturbed.
The key condition here is stacking the pallet correctly: heavy boxes at the bottom, light ones at the top, edges even. Yük.az stretch-wraps the pallets and straps them in the truck body so they don’t slide on the way.
The second issue is counting. The number of pallets is checked during loading and unloading — this prevents mismatches with warehouse documents.
A schedule can be set up for regular pallet trips from warehouse to warehouse or warehouse to store. The price is calculated by the number of pallets, weight and distance.
Palletised cargo transport is both faster and safer than moving boxes one by one. A load stacked on a pallet and stretch-wrapped moves as a single block: boxes don’t fall apart, the order isn’t disturbed, and loading takes several times less time.
Stacking the pallet correctly directly determines the result. Heavy boxes go at the bottom, light ones at the top; the edges don’t stick out beyond the pallet, because an overhanging part is the first to get damaged. The top row is set slightly inward so the stretch film holds the load tight.
Size and height in palletised cargo transport
In the truck body, pallets are lined up tightly and empty spaces are filled. A gap causes the pallet to slide on the road, and sliding tears the stretch film. That is why a strap is fastened separately for each row.
Counting is done at both addresses: the number of pallets is checked and confirmed during loading and unloading. This prevents mismatches between warehouse documents and reality and leaves no room for disputes.
The size of the pallet determines how many fit in the vehicle. Standard pallets stacked in rows make full use of the truck body, while non-standard sizes create gaps. That is why the number and size of pallets are asked when the order is taken.
The height of the pallet also matters: a pallet stacked too high moves on the road and the top row slides. When the load is stabilised with stretch film or banding, the pallet stays intact and unloading goes quickly.
Rules on documentation for palletised cargo in international shipments are provided on the website of the State Customs Committee.
